Before winter break, we had a fun visit from Drs. Michael and Maria Herron who taught us what it is like to to help a patient who needs to be stitched up. They brought in a pig’s foot and a variety of tools to show how to make different types of suture. We even had the chance to help sew the incision! Below are the pictures of our fun. Thank you to Doctors Herron! Before winter break, Sparkles, the kindness elf, came to visit our classroom. Each day she challenged us in some way to be more kind. Wether it was decorating a Christmas tree at the nursing home or saying please and thank you, Sparkles helped us get into the true spirit of Christmas. On the last day of her visit, Sparkles let us take an #elfieselfie. Below are our silly pictures! |
